Tort Reform

A tort is another name for a lawsuit.  I believe that all of the frivolous lawsuits are very damaging to our country.  Tort reform is a proposition that the loser pays.  So if someone gets a lawyer to take his/her case and lose they have to pay the court costs of the plaintiff (person being sued).  Most lawyers will take a case for free because their time and cost of filing the lawsuit is the only risk.  I believe that one factor in the high cost of medical care is the very expensive malpractice insurance.  Any costs that a doctor, corporation, or store incurs will be passed onto the customer in higher prices.

Blogs

Web Logs (Blogs) are specialized web pages designed to post information such as news, commentaries, personal stories, etc.  To create a blog you have to open up one of the many free services that provide blogs.  The easiest account to set up may be blogger.com because it is a google account and most people have a gmail account which means they automatically have a blogger account.  And since youtube is a google product it seems to interface with blogs rather well.
